Booking Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with Yarra Holiday Park, you acknowledge that you
have read, understood and agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
1.1 Deposit Requirements
To secure your booking:
A deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation is required for all direct bookings.
Some bookings or promotional rates may require full payment at the time of booking.
Full payment is required for bookings made within:
28 days of arrival during Peak Season, or 7 days of arrival during Low and Shoulder Seasons.
1.2 Balance Payments
The remaining balance is due: 28 days prior to arrival during Peak Season 7 days prior to arrival during Low and Shoulder Seasons.
If payment is not received by the due date, Yarra Holiday Park reserves the
right to cancel the booking and apply the applicable cancellation policy.
Payment of your deposit confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2.1 Guest Cancellations
Should you need to cancel your booking:
Cancellations made within 28 days of arrival during Peak Season, or within 7 days during Low and Shoulder Seasons, will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total booking value.
Cancellations made outside these periods will incur a 5% administration fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
Bookings made through third-party booking channels (including Booking.com) are subject to the cancellation policies applicable to that booking platform.
2.2 Refunds
Refunds may be approved at the discretion of management in exceptional circumstances.
No refunds will be provided for:
Inclement weather
Early departures
No-shows
Power, water or utility interruptions beyond our reasonable control
Events outside management’s control, including natural disasters or
government restrictions
Check-in
Check-in is available from the published check-in time.
Check-out
Guests must vacate their accommodation by the published check-out time unless prior approval has been granted.
Late departures without prior approval may incur a fee of $50 per hour or part thereof.
Outstanding Balances
All bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.
Guests with outstanding balances may be refused check-in until payment
has been received.
After-hours arrivals are available where prior arrangements have been made with reception.
4.1 Occupancy
Guests staying without a parent or legal guardian must be at least 18 years of age.
Only the number of guests included in the reservation may occupy the accommodation unless prior approval has been granted.
4.2 Care of Accommodation
Guests are expected to leave accommodation in a reasonably clean and tidy condition upon departure.
Excessive cleaning, including unwashed dishes, excessive rubbish or damage requiring additional servicing, may result in cleaning charges being applied to the nominated payment method.
4.3 Smoking
All accommodation and park facilities are strictly smoke-free.
Smoking or vaping inside accommodation or anywhere within the park will incur a minimum cleaning and deodorising charge of $500 and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
4.4 Alcohol
Yarra Holiday Park is a 100% alcohol-free property.
The possession or consumption of alcohol anywhere within the park is not permitted. Guests who fail to comply may be asked to leave the property immediately without refund.
4.5 Pets
Pets are welcome on approved camping sites only during Low and Shoulder Seasons and must be approved prior to arrival.
Pets are not permitted during Peak Season (20 December – 5 January inclusive).
Pet owners must:
Keep pets under control at all times.
Never leave pets unattended.
Clean up after their pets immediately.
Failure to comply may result in guests being asked to leave the park
without refund.
4.6 Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage, theft or loss caused by themselves or members of their party.
Yarra Holiday Park reserves the right to recover the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning from the nominated payment method.
Yarra Adventure and Holiday Parks are proudly owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North NSW.
We warmly welcome respectful guests and travellers from all backgrounds and faiths to enjoy our parks. Our aim is to provide a peaceful, safe and family-friendly environment where people of all ages can relax, reconnect with nature and create lasting memories.
To support this experience, all Yarra Adventure and Holiday Parks are 100% smoke-free and alcohol-free. We ask that all guests respect these values during their stay and help us maintain the welcoming atmosphere that makes our parks unique.
To ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful stay, we ask that everyone:
Treat fellow guests, staff and property with courtesy and respect.
Supervise children at all times.
Observe all park signage and safety instructions.
Respect quiet enjoyment for all guests, particularly during evening and
overnight hours.
Follow all directions provided by management or staff.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry or require guests to leave
the park where behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or in breach of
these Terms & Conditions.
No refunds will be issued where guests are required to leave due to
breaches of park rules.
Yarra Holiday Park respects your privacy and is committed to protecting
your personal information.
Information collected during the booking process is used solely for
managing your reservation, communicating with you about your stay and
providing requested services.
Payment information is securely processed through our authorised
payment providers. Yarra Holiday Park does not store or have direct
access to your full credit card details.
With your consent, we may occasionally send promotional offers or
updates. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any
time.
We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties except
where required to facilitate your booking or as required by law.
While every effort is made to ensure guests enjoy their stay, Yarra Holiday
Park is not liable for loss, damage, injury or inconvenience arising from
circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Adverse weather
Utility outages
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Acts or omissions of third parties
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights available under
the Australian Consumer Law.
By making a booking, paying a deposit or completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
It is the responsibility of all guests to familiarise themselves with these
conditions prior to arrival.
